ABOUT THIS EVENT: The High Holidays take us on a journey through the full range of human emotions. The traditional scriptural readings are designed to evoke both tears and laughter, sorrow and joy, love and awe, while the ancient liturgy– with its haunting melodies–causes us to tremble ecstatically before the divine Majesty. Though we may not be able to celebrate the holidays inside our synagogues this year, we can still journey inwardly into the depths of our ancient rituals of renewal and draw sustenance, hope and vision for the new year and the challenging days ahead.

ABOUT THIS SPEAKER: Estelle Frankel is a practicing psychotherapist, author, spiritual director and popular public speaker. In her private practice in Albany, Ca. she works with individuals and couples providing brief and long-term psychotherapy and spiritual mentoring.
