Session 1: Mindy Ribner- 1:00-2:15 PM- Soul Learning: An Experiential Meditation Workshop For Healing, Self Discover, and Spiritual Revelation! Be guided in a variety of Jewish meditation practices to illuminate Jewish thought, invigorate Jewish practice and enhance personal healing and transformation.  Leave this workshop will specific Jewish/ Kabbalistic meditative practices to incorporate in your daily life.

Session 2: Reb Brian Yosef Schachter-Brooks- 2:30-3:45 PM- Spiritual awakening is the realization that you are far more than your thoughts and feelings. Beneath your personality there’s a radiant field of awareness, free from negativity and connected to the aliveness of the present moment. Participants will receive an immediate and direct taste of awakening while learning a powerful, Jewish-based practice for cultivating joy, wellness, and peace. The workshop includes transformational teaching, heart-opening Hebrew chanting, and deep silence.
3:45- 4:00 PM: Break
Session 3: Rabbi Sarah Leah Grafstein- 4:00- 5:15 PM- Experience the Kabbalistic Tree of Life – “Eitz Chayim” through meditation, chanting, breathing work and drumming. With Rabbi Sarah Leah Grafstein and Pinna Joseph – Professional chanter, Daniel Hirtz – Master drummer.
Professional Chantress and sound artist, Pinna Joseph is going to help attendees tap into their state of consciousness. Pinna has been the Cantorial Soloist at Ruach Hamidbar for more than 25 years. She also offers workshops, classes, and individual sessions in chanting, relaxation, and breath. In her classes, Pinna also teaches Hebrew and English chants.
Master Drummer, Daniel Hirtz is a gifted and joyfully energetic multi-cultural percussionist and is the founder of the Tune into Life Process, the Breathe for Peace project. We are fortunate to have him join us in this meditation retreat.
ABOUT THE SPEAKERS:
Miriam Shulamit (Melinda/ Mindy Ribner) is a teacher of the Feminine and meditation within Judaism for over 20 years. She is a licensed spiritual psychotherapist and healer in private practice, and an author of five books on Kabbalah, meditation, and healing. Mindy has a personal semicha from Rabbis Shlomo Carlebach OBM and Rabbi Zalman Schachter- Shalomi OBM.

Reb Sarah Leah Grafstein founded Ruach Hamidbar – Spirit of the Desert in 1989. She is committed to inspiring, educating and supporting people to joyfully experience and celebrate their Jewishness. Reb Sarah Leah blends her background in the arts and traditional Judaism with Jewish renewal spirituality, Chassidus, and kabbalah. She studied fine art, printmaking, Jewish calligraphy and videography in Toronto and the Bay Area. She worked as a production manager for a daily TV show in Montreal, taught in Hillel Jewish Day School in Oakland and managed the graphics and multimedia departments in colleges in Gilroy and Oakland, CA. Rabbi Sarah Leah resides in Scottsdale with her husband Steve Klemow, a Realtor, and their son Shlomo Ziggy.

Reb Brian Yosef Schachter-Brooks is a Jewish spiritual teacher and musician. He has been teaching the practice of Presence (meditation, mindfulness) and Judaism since 2006, and founded of Torah of Awakening in 2015. Reb Brian Yosef received s’miha (ordination) as Minister of Sacred Music (Reb Yosef Briah Zohar, Menatzeiakh, Ba’al Tefilah) from Reb Zalman z”l (2012), Spiritual Teacher and Awakener of Souls  (Morei Rukhani uM’oreir N’shamot) from Shaykh Ibrahim Baba Farajaje (may his secret be sanctified) and Rabbi SaraLeya Schley (2012), certification as Teacher of Jewish Meditation (Moreh L’hitbodedut) from Dr. Avram Davis (2004), and holds a Bachelor in Music from the Eastman School of Music (1991).
