Jewish Education Legacy Society of Valley Beit Midrash

Jewish Education Legacy Society of Valley Beit Midrash

Valley Beit Midrash (a global center for learning and action) is a forward-thinking, pluralistic not-for-profit organization rooted in Jewish ethics that is committed to improving lives in our communities through Torah learning, social action, and leadership development.

In 2007 Valley Beit Midrash (VBM) was founded to provide meaningful Jewish education to adults and eventually expanded to include young adults. We take a pluralistic approach to Jewish education and present programs from all walks of life. We operate fellowship programs that inspire the next generation of Jewish leaders to work towards a more just world while being guided by Jewish ethics and values. We envision an inclusive and passionate Jewish life and collaborate to invent the path forward inviting all Jews and other faiths to build community and learn from one another.

Beginning in 2013, VBM developed a strong and active social action program based on the concept of creating a brighter more inclusive world free from hunger, hatred, anti-Semitism, and bigotry. We are committed to improving the lives of others, to make our communities better places to live and to translate our learning and reflection into action. We are committed to passing the torch through example and mentoring so our work can continue from generation to generation.

Our legacy donors are community members, just like you, who believe in the core values of Torah, Tikkun Olam/Healing the World, Musar/Ethics and Talmud maivee lidei maaseh (Learning leads to Action) and want to inspire future generations to keep these values alive.
