The Jewish Wisdom Fellowship

The Jewish Wisdom Fellowship is a new initiative from Valley Beit Midrash that trains and supports lay leaders to facilitate meaningful Jewish learning and conversation in their own communities. Grounded in the belief that Jewish wisdom belongs to all of us, the fellowship equips participants to create spaces where people can come together to learn, reflect, ask questions, and build deeper connections with one another.

Through text study, dialogue, and relationship-building, fellows will help cultivate communities of learning that are thoughtful, welcoming, and rooted in shared exploration. The inaugural fellowship will focus on the theme Building a Just and Compassionate Society, exploring how Jewish wisdom can help us imagine and create a world grounded in dignity, fairness, responsibility, and care for others.

Whether you have experience leading Jewish learning or are looking to deepen your leadership skills, the Jewish Wisdom Fellowship offers an opportunity to grow as a facilitator, learner, and community builder while helping others engage more deeply with Jewish life and wisdom.
